Originally from the City of Chicago, Jack Bataoel came to Bloomington/Normal to attend Illinois State University to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. After living in the area for four years, he realized what a wonderful, unique area it was, and decided to call it home. An entrepreneur by heart, Jack started his first business in 1997 as a painting contractor and quickly became one of the largest and most successful painting companies in town. This business gave him the experience with dealing with new construction, homeowners, home buyers, and Realtors. After eight successful years, Jack decided it was time to move on to a new adventure, and purchased Rhino's Nightclub (now BlueLine Nightclub), in historic Downtown Bloomington. After rehabbing the interior, the once unpopular nightclub soon became one of Bloomington's Hotspots. After having Rhino's for a few years he soon realized his Chicago roots were starting to form ideas. In 2010 Jack remodeled the nightclub into a more upscale hangout. The upgrades Jack gave BlueLine Nightclub is astonishing. Jack feels that BlueLine evolved as his career did, making it more appealing and a great facelift to Downtown Bloomington. Due to Jack's rapid growth in the Real Estate Industry his wife Beth has taken the reins of the day to day operations. He feels his two businesses work perfectly together. His team attracts buyers and sellers on a weekly basis from the nightclub which in turn creates a huge sphere of influence... more buyers for his sellers and more opportunities for his buyers. Jack is thankful for all the relationships he has formed along the way.
In the winter of 2006, Jack finally fulfilled his dream to obtain his real estate license. Following in the footsteps of his father to become a REALTOR Jack quickly jumped into the business and is very excited to be a member of Coldwell Banker Heart of America Realtors. Jack enjoys working with both buyers and sellers. His self-driven attitude combined with his experience, organization and knowledge has proven to be successful for his clients, referrals, buyers, and sellers.
Due to Jack's success in 2008 he formed a team to better serve his clients. First bringing on a full time assistant to help with day to day transactional work then moving on to hiring a full time Buyers Specialist. Today The Jack Bataoel Home Selling Team has one full time buyers specialist, full time client care coordinator, and a part time marketing coordinator. Jack looks a creating more RAVING FANS everyday. He is obsessed with the industry, spending time and money on newest and most up to date technology and methods to help his clients.
Even though Jack works very hard for his success, he loves to spend time with his family. Playing with his children is one thing Jack looks forward to everyday, and of course he LOVES to spend time with his WONDERFUL wife as well. Family values was instilled in Jack at a very young age and Jack is very much a family man.
Jack lives in Bloomington with his wife Beth, their two children Zack and Marion, and their two dogs Gracie and Belle. He is an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan, and he enjoys playing softball, golf, fishing, and most importantly playing outside with his two young children.
